Taps to Riches strategy guide 2017

In this in dept strategy guide for the iOS and Android game Taps to Riches we go over the top strategies and tips to level up and becoming successful in the game. The game is still quite new so you have every opportunity to become one of the top players in the game.

As you start out the game you will quickly see that it is a fast paced game. Your income is shown per second and when you gain speed up bonuses it is four times faster than this. You get these speed-up bonuses every time you reach a multiple of 25 for one of your businesses, that would be level 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, etc. Unfortunately they only last for one of the businesses at a time, but it still helps a lot.

Step 1 – Fireworks and Payday pawn.

The first thing I think you should do in the game is to upgrade the Fireworks Foundry to level 25 and then do the same with the Payday Pawn. This will give you speedup-bonuses for both buildings, you get them every time your buildings reach a multiple of 25 as I explained earlier.

Step 2 – Hire advisors.

After getting the two first buildings upgraded you will get a quest popup that tells you to hire advisors, do this as soon as possible. Hopefully you are lucky and end up with an advisor with a lot of stars to him. The better the advisor star level you get the better bonuses you will have. The first advisor I got when starting the game was Mr. Sparky, he gives me 9x tap profits in dust valley.

Step 3 – Do the achievements.

There are lots of achievements in Taps to Riches. It is a good idea to take a look at these when you decide what to focus on moving forwards. You will get a quest popup when you complete the first one which will most likely be the hire advisors part if you follow this guide. The reward for this is 5 gems that will come in handy.

Step 4 – Learn how to upgrade super fast.

You will get this as a quest popup as well, but just in case you miss it: You can make really fast upgrades by just holding the buy button down instead of tapping over and over. Trust me, this will save your fingers from being totally exhausted after just a short amount of play.

Step 5 – Take over a new city.

Once you reach 1.5 million in cash you will be able to take over a new city. There is no need to rush this however. I think you should wait with doing this till you have all the buildings in your first city at level 25 or higher. The income you get from the level 25 buildings in your first city will have you a lot moving forwards. I upgraded my Fireworks Foundry and Payday Pawn to level 50 before I took over the next city.

Step 6 – Check for bonuses and rewards.

Always be on the lookup for bonuses and gifts. The first gift that will show up here is the 4 hour bonus income. They will give you 20 gems for free that you can use to activate this bonus so it is definitely a good idea to do that as soon as possible. It will speed up your levelling a lot.

You will find bonuses and gifts on the top right of the screen usually, but sometimes notifications will also be shown in the menu when you have completed quests are there are rewards to pickup here. Like I said before, it is a fast paced game so there are lots of gifts and bonuses you can pick up early on.

Step 7 – Always tap your house.

Yes you will actually get tons of bonuses by just tapping your house. Over and over and over, I guess that is why the call the game tap to riches. They actually reward you the more you tap. In this case holding your finger down doesn’t work, you actually have to tap over and over to increase the bonuses. The faster you tap the bigger bonus you will get, this will increase even more if you have a business bonus timer active.

Step 8 – Buy the welcome gift.

This is of course not necessary, but the first welcome pack you are able to buy in the game is really valuable. The price for this welcome pack is $19.99, it’s shown in another currency here as I am using a Norwegian iTunes account. You can see for yourself what you get here, 25x profits is huge and in addition you get 1500 gems and 7 days of cash.

You want to wait until you have a few hundre million in income every second before you buy this pack however. The higher your income is the more the 7 days of cash will be worth after all. If you plan to spend some money on the game at all, now is the time to do it.

Step 9 – Invite some friends to join you.

The next step I would suggest doing now is connecting the game to your Facebook account so that you can ask your friends for keys. This basically lets you get free gifts if your friends decide to interact with the game. If you don’t want to bother your friends or tell them that you are playing this game you don’t have to do this of course.

Step 10 – Log in every day.

Every day you log in to the game you will get a daily reward. You will also get the chance to do a couple of daily quests for even more rewards. If you’re serious about becoming one of the top players in the game worldwide you should definitely log in as often as possible and at least spend enough time to complete the daily quests and get those rewards.
